EasyCook began with a simple observation: South Africans love the outdoors, but traditional cooking methods during load-shedding, camping trips, or outdoor events were often inconvenient, unsafe, or inefficient.
Founded in 2018 by Michael van der Merwe, EasyCook started as a small family business with a mission to provide reliable, portable cooking solutions for every South African household.
What began with selling a few portable stoves from the back of a bakkie has grown into South Africa's trusted source for portable gas cooking solutions. Today, we serve thousands of customers across the country, from urban households facing electricity challenges to outdoor enthusiasts exploring our beautiful landscapes.
